Vivendi Is Accelerating Its Acquisition Of Ubisoft Apr 25th 2017, 23:25, by ssf1991 Reuters is reporting that Vivendi, a company that is huge in French’s media industry, is planning to accelerate its acquisitions of video games and advertising in 2017. The reason being is to “allay investor concerns about its strategy, mixed results and poor share performance“. According to the folks that told Reuters, the first companies that will be targeted in this initiative are Ubisoft and an advertising group called Havas. This may not be easy in Ubisoft’s case. Vivendi already owns 25% of Ubisoft, but the rest is owned by the family that founded it, the Guillemots. They could resist the acquisition and it could “potentially lead to a costly, unsolicited full takeover bid”. Source Thanks, MasterPikachu6 Filed under: Nintendo Tagged: Nintendo, ubisoft, vivendi |
